Growing up, I spent many Saturday mornings going to yard sales with my grandmother after she had found them listed in the local newspaper. Some of my favorite memories were made driving from sale to sale, never knowing what treasures we might find.
As technology has evolved, fewer people receive or read the newspaper, making it much harder for communities to learn about local yard sales, garage sales, estate sales, and community sales. One day, my dad pointed out that there should be an easier way for people to discover these events while helping sellers reach more shoppers. That simple conversation became the inspiration for SaleScout.
Every feature in SaleScout has been built with one goal in mind: making it simple, reliable, and enjoyable to find great sales close to home.
