You can search by ZIP code or allow SaleScout to use your current location to show sales happening near you.
What types of sales can be listed?

SaleScout is made for yard sales, garage sales, estate sales, moving sales, neighborhood or community sales, holiday sales, and similar local in-person sales.
Do I need an account to browse sales?

No. You can browse available sales without creating an account. An account is only required if you want to create or manage a listing.
Why do sellers need to create an account?

Seller accounts help keep SaleScout safer and allow sellers to create, edit, update, and manage their listings in one place.
How do I list a sale?

Create an account, select “List a Sale,” then enter your sale title, date, time, address, and a description of what shoppers can expect to find.
How much does it cost to list a sale?

Currently, listing a sale is free. In the future, SaleScout may charge a small listing fee to publish a sale. In the event of this upcoming day, any applicable price will be clearly shown before your listing is submitted.
Can I edit or delete my listing?

Once you are signed into your account, you can manage your listing by deleting a sale if your sale details change. As of now, you may delete only.
How long will my listing stay active?

Your listing stays active through the date and time of your sale. Once the sale has ended, it will no longer appear in search results
How do I report a sale?

If a listing is inaccurate, expired, inappropriate, or no longer taking place, open the sale details and select “Report Sale.” Complete the report, and our team will review the report.
What should I do if a sale is canceled?

If you are the seller, update or remove your listing as soon as possible. If you are a shopper and notice a canceled sale, you can report the listing through the app.
Can I list an online sale or shipping-only sale?

No. SaleScout is designed for local, in-person sales. Online-only listings and shipping-only sales are not allowed.
